WELCOME TO A NEW SEASON!!!
A FUNdraiser we put together for our CLUB is the Annual Golf Tournament. This is a fun-filled day and we need your help to make it a successful event. Your families can benefit immensely from participating in the tournament or having others you know participate. Inform your parents to be on the LOOKOUT for an email that will walk you through setting up your DAUGHTER OR SON's page. This email is sent to one of the parent email addresses for each player. Once this is complete you can send to all your colleagues, friends, family and anyone else you think would like to spend an afternoon socializing/golfing with, and/or wants to help support your son or daughter. AccelRaise will help streamline the registration process and make it easier to raise money for each of our LD/Jr. Duck Players that participate. This is an exciting event that your player can benefit from by you doing a little work.
***PLEASE NOTE ALL MONIES RUN THROUGH THE LD PROGRAM ACCT AND WILL BE PAID TO THE TEAMS THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT
Here is how you can raise funds for your players individual account…
$ towards Individual Player Accounts (IPA)
Every foursome sold = $200 towards IPA
Reach out to business associates, neighbors, friends, family, anyone that may purchase a foursome.
Individual Golfers = $50 towards IPA
Want to golf...join us for a great day. This is a fun day for all LEVELS of golfers.
Tee Sign Sponsor = $150 towards IPA
Have your local businesses help out!! Your own business can sponsor a Tee Sign and you benefit.
Golf Ball Drop = $5/per ball towards IPA
All you have to do is send the AccelRaise link to ALL your contacts. They do not have to be present to win. Easy as that! The ball drop will be around 5:00PM the evening of the tournament.

Basically a helicopter will drop all the balls that are purchased onto a green. The one ball that drops in will win the prize, 10% of overall amount raised up to $2,000. In addition, the player who sells the ball will receive a scholarship of $1000 off their club fees. This prize will only be active should we sell the required amount of balls (10 per player) so please make sure you sell enough balls to qualify. If two balls go in then the one that goes in first will win.
All players are STRONGLY recommended to sell at least 10 balls each and each ball is priced at $10. You can sell to anyone and with the Accelraise system we have in place all balls can be sold easily on-line. So even family members from out of the area, or even out of the country, can buy golf ball tickets and take part.
Recommended to customize your son or daughter’s page first, by adding a picture, etc. AccelRaise will send out an email to each player within the next few days that will include instructions on how to use the site.
COMPETITION IS GOOD SO…The LD Player that sells the MOST golf ball drop tickets will receive an autographed stick from the Anaheim Ducks player of their choice.
On the site you will be able to reach out to all your friends and family to come golf, sponsor part of the tournament, buy golf balls or simply make a straight donation to your daughter or son. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
